Fourth of July weekend

It was a very nice weekend here for the Fourth of July. Friday we went to the parade. Talon really enjoyed himself, more so than I thought. He was dancing to the bands and getting tons of candy.

This is Do-It's float. They are sponsoring the SHARP project which is to build better sports activity sites. Includes, tennis courts, soccer fields, baseball/softball fields etc.

Dance, dance, dance.

Grandma Lynn & Talon did some sparklers on Friday night. This was his 1st time doing them and he really enjoyed it. However, the dog was trying to eat them and was barking at them!

Saturday night we had a cookout at my mom's. My brother & his family came down and we all swam, ate and did fireworks. The kids enjoyed it so much. Here is a picture of all their reactions when the fireworks were going off! Priceless....

This was Carson's 1st time doing sparklers as well. He is the most brave and outgoing little boy I know. Nothing seems to bother him, even trying to eat a sparkler! He didn't eat it, but he definitely tried!
