Never leave food in front of a eager infant

I started to feed London solids a couple weeks ago, I didn't feel she was ready due to her not sleeping for me at night after I did so. I held off and just started back up again. She loves her food to say the least, so last night I made her sweet potatoes, had the bowl sitting on her high chair, and I turned for one second, looked back and it was all over her! It was quite commical. She started to lick the tray where the food was and was eager to eat what was left in the bowl. I only had one small jar of sweet potatoes so I couldn't make another one. Poor thing she still wanted more but I wasn't about to give her something else just in case she was allergic. So here are the pictures of her trying to eat her tray and her very dirty self!
