Happy 1st Birthday to our sweet baby girl

One year ago today 2 major changes happened. Barack Obama became our first African American President and London Elizabeth was brought into this world! It's hard to believe that a year has passed. She's growing so quickly, learning new things and well she's not that baby anymore. She weighed 8 lbs 5 oz when she was born she is now over 20(not sure on the exact, will know tomorrow at her well child checkup). She's into EVERYTHING, that goes from Talon's toys, every drawer in the house(time for the saftey locks), mom's shoes, dvd's you name it. Everything in the house is child proof otherwise she'd be in it. She's definitely more active than Talon. That's probably because we were on Talon like a hawk, being first time parents we were on edge with everything he did. She's tough too. She'll try to walk, fall right on her face, get up and do it again. Sometimes she'll cry because she hurt herself but only for a second then she's back at it. She loves her brother, and loves to sit right in the middle of everything he does. He gets mad and tells me to come and get her so he can play. Once the upstairs is finished he will have his own little play area that she won't get into for awhile that is. She has tried to walk a little. I thought she'd be walking by now but she's not and I'm okay with that. I'm NOT rushing it by any means. She's busy enough by crawling. But she does walk with her little push toys and such and crusises like crazy. No more bottles & no more formula and pretty much no more baby food. She doesn't care for her baby food so much, she does like her veggies though. That baby that I first held in my arms one year ago, barely wants you to snuggle her anymore. She's busy and destructive(has her big brother would tell you). But we are blessed to have our little angel in our lives and we wouldn't be complete without her. Happy Birthday London Elizabeth. We love you so very much.
