New York

I'm finally getting these pictures uploaded! A few weeks back the Pirsein & Moore Family took a trip to New York! We went to visit Rob's sister & newphews. We had such a great time. We stayed with Geri, who lives in Carthage, NY. We got there on a Sat. night and stayed till that following Thursday. While there we got do a little gift shop shopping, go to dinner, visit the military base, Fort Drum, bowl, Geri & I got to do a little shopping and pedicures and Rob & Ray got to go Kayaking. We also took a trip up to Lake Placid for the night. We had a really nice trip with the family.

This is the HUGE pancake that the boys got. Of course Talon didn't eat all of it but he put a pretty good dent in it!

On our way to Fort Drum. This place is really neat, they have their own little city!!

One day we just walked around in 1000 Island NY. It was neat but a lot of the shops were closed because it was not in season yet. But in the summer I imagine it'd be a pretty busy place!

This was a castle that a man built for his wife, her dream house, and she got really ill and passed away. He left the house. Now, you can take a ferry over to this castle and tour it. Unfortunately we did not get to do that because the ferry was not running when we went! But it was just amazing and beautiful!

Watching the big boat come in .

We were able to hang out with Rob's nephew Dustin while we were there. It was great to see him. Hard to believe he's all grown up!
On our way to Lake Placid we were going to ride the gondola but, again, it wasn't running. So we checked out Whiteface Ski Mountain. It was really pretty.

Geri with all the boys.
Little Chunka, hamin' it up!

We went to the Olympic Center in Lake Placid which was held in 1980. It so neat to see all the memoribilla from all different years. The boys hopped in one of the bob sleds sitting out on the sidewalk.

We also hit the town while in Lake Placid. Not much going on at all, but we had fun.

Our last day, Geri & I went to the mall to get an awesome pedicure & shop. When we got back, the boys took a kayaking adventure!
