Races

It's been awhile since I've updated these pictures. Rob & I have done a few races this year together and I've also done quite a few with Kathy. Rob has had me training outdoors a lot this year. It has not been easy as I do not like to run in the heat. I've done okay this year, thought I'd do better, but I cannot complain!! Hard to believe that racing season is coming to an end though. I have a few more races that I will do then I'll continue to train for the Chicago 1/2 marathon next September!

Coloma Peach Fest 10k. Kathy & I both received medals. She got 2nd for her age group and I got 3rd for mine. My first medal in the 1 1/2 years I've been running. My age group is really competitive and it's really hard to get up in the top 3 especially in a 5k, in the 10k I have more of a chance since not as many 30-35 year olds run in it!! So this time I did it! Go me!


Veneitian River Run 10k. Kathy & I raced this race together. It was really hot but we did okay and it was neat coming in with a friend!


Watervliet 5k. What a course, rolling hills everywhere!! And I actually did very well. Talon was also able to enjoy a 1 mile kids fun run and did great!

I was not going to let this old guy pass me!
