Blueberry Festival 2009

I'm a little behind on this post. Another year came for our annual Blueberry Festival in South Haven. It was NOT an ideal weekend, the weather was pretty wet. Friday Rob & I took a 1/2 day to take the kids downtown so they would at least be able to enjoy part of the festivites before the rain came. They had a bull there this year, which I was skeptical if Talon would ride it, well he did in fact ride it! You can see by his facial expressions he's just not so sure about that! They had the bouncy things there, which Talon just loves and a rock wall. Again, wasn't sure if he'd do it or not but he did with the help of dadddy! He had fun regardless of the weather. This year Rob & I ran in the Blueberry 5k. Wasn't sure on the weather outcome, but at about 7am the rain quit and we were able to run the race. It was perfect weather, cool, a few sprinkles and a slight breeze.

Rob & Brynn. She was supposed to run with her dad but he was injured and she didn't want to run alone so Rob offered to run with her. He kept her going and they both did great!
